This guarantees compliance with rigorous indoor air quality emission requirements. The program is designed for interior building materials, furnishings and systems. Junkers & Müllers are also members of the USGBC and adhere to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

JM Environmental information

All of our fabrics are manufactured without the addition of substances that might be a health hazard such as formaldehyde, CFC, solvents, lead/cadmium/quicksilver compounds. All of our products are PVC-free.

Our full product range has been certified in accordance with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Product class IV and is regularly monitored. Our entire manufacturing process is designed to minimise any impact on the environment and natural resources. In addition to that JM is committed to the concept of environmental sustainability. We offer a service whereby we take our goods back at the end of their life cycle and insure that they are recycled sensibly and efficiently. In cooperation with the EGN waste management company Niederrhein PlC, all products are prepared in such a fashion that they can be used as an alternative energy source, therefore, offering a sensible alternative to existing fossil based fuels. All JM products carry the RAL certificate, stating that they are certified as derived fuels.
