COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS

DESIGNED WITH SUSTAINABILITY IN MIND
The Quest for

Greener Environments

Because most people spend as much as 90% of their time indoors,
maintaining healthy indoor air quality is essential. Indoor air quality can be impacted by emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from surfaces and finishes. As a result architects, designers and purchasers are taking active measures to improve the standard of the building products and finished materials they use.

Luminos Blinds is at the forefront of bespoke window coverings and the only blinds manfacturer in the country that can be specified for Green buildings. Our exclusive range of commercial fabrics from Junkers & Müllers in Germany carries the SCS Global Services Indoor Advantage Gold certification. This guarantees compliance with rigorous indoor air quality emission requirements. The program is designed for interior building materials, furnishings and systems. Junkers & Müllers are also members of the USGBC and adhere to
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
